The English Grammar Profile lists this indefinite pronoun followed by an adjective at both B1 and A2.  What does “like” mean anyway?  Does it mean only these listed?

44 ADJECTIVE position B1 adjective or adjective phrase after pronouns like ‘something’, ‘nothing’, ‘somewhere’, ‘nowhere’.

I like cooking and I want to cook something special
But something terrible happened next; I was so nervous that I stopped breathing!

The explanations do not make it clearer although the intuition would suggest the object position and more simple vocabulary range could possibly be used. For now here at EnglishGrammar.Pro we propose that point 44 will include: nothing|somewhere|nowhere|anyone|everything|someone|everyone and point 37 remain as it is. This seems to fit with collocation frequency on the iWeb corpus too.
