remember | stop + to-INFINITVE | VERBing

In the English Grammar Profile, B2 point 45 in VERBS is defined as:

follow some verbs with a ‘to’-infinitive or an ‘-ing’ form, with a change in meaning.

*The verbs in the EGP examples are ‘remember’ and ‘stop’.

It is interesting that the top 25 ‘remember’ are all in the base/infinitive form for remember.  Whereas ‘stop’ has a few past forms.
