Although there is an English Grammar Profile point at B2 for introducing a new subject before a gerund, there is no point for a new subject before a past participle which we then assume points to C1 ability. Even a ‘new’ subject is questionable as a criterion for advanced ability.
Here’s an advanced example sentence of VERB + PRONOUN + PP:
That was an unusual way for me to make myself understood.
“make yourself understood” is C1 in the English Vocabulary Profile, but C2 in the Cambridge Online dictionary!
The most common main lexical verb at the start of this structure is ‘GET‘ which might mean most of these results are related to A C1 PASSIVE grammar point.
If we simply changed our search for Nouns instead of Pronouns, this structure would still point to C1 grammar related to past participles as adjectives after noun phrases.
