Point 137 in MODALITY is defined as:

negative forms of ‘can’t’ and ‘cannot’ to guess, predict and deduce.

This point is an extremely difficult point to locate because it heavily relies on usage.  The use of ‘can’t’ is A1 by default, but not ‘cannot’ which has not been given a level in the EGP.  We can try to mimic the examples given by the EGP:

You_PPY look_VV0 very_RG pale_JJ and_CC you_PPY ca_VM n’t_XX be_VBI feeling_VVG well_RR ._.
I_PPIS1 think_VV0 that_CST it_PPH1 ca_VM n’t_XX be_VBI true_JJ ._.
He_PPHS1 ca_VM n’t_XX be_VBI ;_; he_PPHS1 is_VBZ too_RG young_JJ ._.
It_PPH1 can_VM not_XX be_VBI any_DD good_JJ

However, none of our common clusters shows signs of guessing, predicting, but we could allow for ‘deducing’ in that there possibly seems to be an attempt to arrive at a conclusion.  They mostly still show high complexity regardless.
